Friends of Library to host Characters and Conversations

EASTON — For the first time ever the legendary Gertrude Stein, George Bernard Shaw, Aldous Huxley, Charlie Chaplain and more will be gathered in the same room for a night of refreshments and conversation with members of the Easton community — or at least, the actors portraying them will be.

The Friends of the Talbot County Free Library Council will be hosting the third annual Among Friends event on Friday, Jan. 29 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m at the Talbot County Free Library in Easton. This year’s theme is 1925: Characters and Conversations and was chosen due to the library celebrating its 90th anniversary this year.
